NOTE: On October 12, 2011 (a full moon and Crowleymas), Arizona University of Magick and Mysticism officially becomes the Aeonic University of Magick and Mysticism, to emphasize its universal scope and intention.

Oct 29 (Saturday) Day of the Dead Vudu Samhain Halloween Gathering Ritual and Requiem. Potentially the highlight of the year.  Gathering begins around 7pm, ritual to start around 9pm.  In addition to celebrating the season of the spirits, we will also be honoring the late Mountain Temple Center director Michael Crowley on the first anniversary Samhain since his death.

We will also be offering initiations into F.O.T.O.N. (Famille Ordo Templi Orientis Nouveau) for those who are interested and pre-qualified.

Magickal Mountain Meetups:

Informal discussion and potluck on a variety of magickal and spiritual issues.  This month, tentatively scheduled for Saturday the 8th and 15th.

Informal discussion and potluck on a variety of magickal and spiritual issues.  This month, tentatively scheduled for Saturday the 3rd, 10th, and 17th.  7pm.

Summer Classes

Our regular weekly classes on a variety of spiritual and magickal topics have been continuing at 7pm on Friday evenings at Alpha Book Center (4532 N. 7th St. Phoenix.) A rotating roster of instructors and presenters are making themselves available for various interesting topics of discussion.

Occasional Saturday evening Mountain Meetups have been taking place at Mountain Temple Center. These are more informal discussions often involving books or miscellaneous topics of magickal interest and concern. Contact us (mountaintemple at hotmail.com) to find out if a Magickal Mountain Meetup is taking place on an upcoming Saturday.

May 6 Symbols of Ceremonial Magick. The images and meanings of this awesome
system of High Magick, some common, some rare. Taught by Avery.

May 13 The Art of Alchemy. Is Alchemy just a craft or does it teach the steps
to glory? Learn masterful techniques and formulas to transform your life. Taught
by Avery.

May 20 Shamanism and Trance. Common shamanistic teachings and medicine
wheels. We will also be conducting a trance journey. Have fun exploring the
other worlds. Taught by Linda.

May 27 Palmistry. A "hands on" workshop on palm reading. What do your palms
say about where you've been and where you are going? Taught by Avery.

March 2011 Classes & Events

Arizona University of Magick:

"March Magick" -- For all those interested in learning more about the magickal arts, Mountain Temple Center is hosting March Magick on Friday evenings. These will consist of informal gatherings in which any interested people can feel free to show up and discuss particular aspects of ceremonial magick, paganism, or the New Age in general with like-minded people in a non-judgmental, open-minded setting.

March Magick Fridays are currently scheduled for March 4th and 11th at 7:00 pm. Additional Fridays may be added, so contact us for updates at (602) 678-0644 or write to us at himagus @ hotmail.com. Please bring some food or beverage to share. A $5 donation is also requested. Note that this month, the discussions are being held at MTC itself, not at Alpha Book Center.

Ritual Event at Mountain Temple Center:

Mar 19 (Saturday) Springfest Vernal Equinox Gathering. Celebrate the great balance between darkness and light with us! Gathering begins around 7pm, ritual to begin around 9pm. Bring plenty of food and/or beverage(s) to share. A $5 donation is requested.
